A customs warehouse is a place that the customs office has approved where you can store goods that are attributable to the customs warehousing procedure. If you do not use or sell your item immediately upon import, you can store it on a customs warehouse. This means that you will not pay taxes and taxes until you complete the customs warehousing procedure and report the goods to Import. Third Party Logistics
Also referred to TPL or 3PL. A third party undertakes to perform all or part of the logistics services required to ensure material flows between a company and its customers. Both small and large companies outsource their logistics to achieve flexibility, cost effectiveness and greater focus on their core business. Regular services include warehouse, pick and pack, transport, IT support for logistics as well as customs issues. But it can also include customer service, billing / travel accounts and perhaps even financial functions such as accounting and payroll management.
Fourth Party Logistics
When a fourth party enters and manages the logistics strategy for an entire supply chain, thus creating maximum efficiency.
Lean production
One of the basics of lean production is to only devote to what creates a value for the end customer. A basic step is to eliminate waste by, for example, optimizing the part size so that you do not produce more than the customer's order.
Supply Chain Management
Management of an entire supply chain. In many cases it may be difficult to have control over an entire supply chain, as the individual company (or group) sometimes does not have enough information about manufacturing and logistics. Whether it is the largest company, the originator, or the last lead before the customer is responsible for ensuring that one or more companies are responsible for Supply Chain Management throughout or in the supply chain, is often difficult to determine.
